George M. Scott is Of Counsel with Carey, Scott, Douglas & Kessler, PLLC.  Judge Scott attended West Virginia University where he majored in Arts and Law and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa fraternity.  Judge Scott then continued with his education at West Virginia University where he obtained his law degree.  Judge Scott is a former Justice of the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals, Judge for the Fifth Judicial Circuit of West Virginia, and Prosecuting Attorney of Roane County, West Virginia.  Judge Scott has been admitted to practice before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia, and the Supreme Court of the United States.  Judge Scott has spent his entire legal career serving the citizens of Roane County and the State of West Virginia.
